Chapter Members enjoy the benefits of meeting others in the same field, including comparing notes and
experiences regarding Professional Home Inspection. We share valuable business experiences, as well
as our passions to make sure the public receives the very best service in the industry.

Education

Chapter meetings are designed to be educational and fun. We typically have 2 or more speakers at
each meeting. Presentations are designed to help us maintain peak proficiency as Professional Home Inspectors. Chapter meetings also earn continuing education credits (CE's) for those in attendance to help satisfy ASHI-imposed continuing education requirements.

Field Awareness And Protecting The Public

As Inspectors, it's important to stay in touch with the local market. Ignore it, and you could be out of
business before you realize it. We set aside time to talk story and help address any field-related concerns ranging from competitor issues and Realtor issues, to other organization issues. One of our primary goals is to protect the public. Additionally, the Chapter is proactive in monitoring inspectors throughout Hawaii regularly, to insure that the ASHI logo is only used by those who have earned the right to use it, and that no one falsely claims certification or membership in ASHI.

Marketing Advantages

Networking with your peers can easily equate to new business, especially if an Inspector on another
island has a client on your island. Many of us simply refer overflow. Knowing whom you are referring to
is very important. Chapter Members also have the opportunity to participate in mainstream publication
advertisements, such as ASHI HAWAII presence at Board of realtor functions, and full-page color "Homes And Land" ads, by sharing advertising costs. Imagine a beautiful $850 advertisement for less than $100 per participant!  We know how to make it happen.

Our Website

It's simple. Today's consumers are hip, and look to the Internet for professional image. It's also more
exposure for you, since many of Hawaii's ASHI affiliated do not have individual websites yet. It's yet another way
to look sharp, and grow your business. But remember, only HAWAII Chapter Members are represented on this site. We welcome all of ASHI's Affiliates and Members in HAWAII to join our State Chapter, so they too can benefit from the advantages of Chapter Membership!

Joining the Chapter

Chapter Membership is restricted to individuals who have already joined ASHI and who are in good
standing with ASHI. Chapter membership is $100.00 per year. Chapter Members are free to hold
membership in other organizations such as NAHI, etc, but must maintain membership with ASHI.
Chapter Members are required to adhere to the Bylaws of the Chapter. Contact any Chapter Officer
to join!
