Aloha All,
MARK Your calendars. We have a “rare” opportunity on Saturday March 7th 2009. Time 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  David Sherwood, who chairs the ASHI National Chapter Relations Committee will be on Maui to give a presentation and workshop to our chapter. This is part of an ASHI National outreach program to provide value and support to its membership.

The events for this workshop will be focused on:
 • Organizing our chapter and fine tuning our operations to become a vibrant chapter which supports its membership.
 • Diversifying our personal businesses and strategies to increase our bottom line in these tough times.
 • Marketing.

These are some of the topics and presentations which are promoted at the annual Leadership Training Conference. I have had the opportunity to serve with David on the Chapter Relations Committee. David Sherwood is an exceptional presenter. His enthusiasm is obvious and sincere. He is also president of the SNEC ASHI chapter and has been instrumental in turning their chapter around to create a vibrant chapter which helps support their membership. David operates a Multi inspector Home & Commercial Inspection Company in Connecticut - Sherwood Inspection Services, LLC

The Meeting will take place on March 7th at The Realtor Association of Maui (RAM) 441 Ala Makani Place in Kahului (behind McDonalds on Dairy Road) it is 5 minutes away from the airport.

This meeting is open to all Inspectors or Inspector “Want-A-B’s”

Chapters are the heart of ASHI, delivering all the benefits of membership in an inspector-friendly, nurturing environment. Here you will find technical education, marketing and business-building tips, networking opportunities, report writing suggestions, camaraderie and swapping of "war stories."

If you don't belong to an ASHI chapter, you're not getting the full value of your ASHI membership. What are you waiting for?

Periodically check our chapter website for additional information at: www.ashihawaii.com

Aloha and hope to see you there,

Paul L Signore, 2008-9 ASHI Hawaii president
